Goddess Within - Workshops, Events, Information

	Goddess Within are in the process of designing a series of great one and two day workshops for 2006. Below is a taster of what's to come. You can reserve places now by e-mail or post. We ask for a £10 non-returnable deposit.
1. Ancestral Dreaming - In the Land of Ure - Cost £35.00 Saturday 18th February 2006, 10am-5pm (open to women and men) Healing Hands, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
A one day workshop to be held in February 2006. Cost: 35.00 pounds. This workshop will be dedicated to the Goddess as Ure. Ure was venerated throughout the North of England. Her main ceremonial sites were around the Ure and Swale plateau in North Yorkshire. The ancient spring and oracle's cave at Knarsborough known as Mother Shipton's Cave was also a site sacred to Ure. The Goddess Ure holds a very powerful Shamanka energy. A Shamanka is a female Shamana. Ure is the ultimate Shamanka - She is our Earth Mother, Grand Mother of the Stars of Orion and the Oracle Ursula. She is Grand Mother Weaver Ur and Ancestral Spirit Ure. Her totem animals are the raven and the black mare. This workshop will take you on a jouney, a shamanic journey, to meet the many facets of this crone goddess. To enliven the Shamanka within you. We aim to enliven Her within us again, bring Her back into being, within the land and within our lives. With chanting we draw Her up from the soils, with meditation we bring Her down from the stars. 4. Amaya - Galactic Starry Mother Men and women welcome -Saturday 18th March 2006 Healing Hands, Broad Lane, Moldgreen, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Amaya is the Goddess of the Starry Heavens also known as the Galactic Mother Logos. She is the Feminine consciousness that resides in all matter within the Universe. This two day workshop will be a festival of connection with our starry origins and the energy of Amaya. (for further info on Amaya click here). Have you always had an affinity with the stars? Do the Pleiades or Sirius feel more like home than Earth at times? Then this workshop could be for you. Many believe our human origins are seeded in the stars. In this workshop we take a look at some of the energies associated with other stars in our Universe - the extra terrestrial worlds assisting Earth to rise in consciousness and evolve or ascend spiritually. 3. The Triple Goddess Maiden, Mother, Crone Women only - Saturday 15th April 2006 Healing Hands, Broad Lane, Moldgreen, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
A one day workshop to be held in May 2006. Cost: 35.00 pounds. Brigid, Ker and Kerridwen will be our guides for this workshop, the aim of which is to identify how we embody the archetypes of Maiden, Mother and Crone in our lives. We look at how these powerful aspects of ourselves can be balanced, and where our life path may have caused a stunted expression in one of these energies. Maiden, Mother and Crone are powerful symbols of feminine wisdom, linked with our natural initiations of menses, birth and menopause. In our modern age the topic of a womans natural blood initiations is not spoken of. We have become disconnected from the power these times in our lives bring. 2. Rhiannon - Opening to the Lover Archetype - Cost £35.00 Women only - Saturday 6th May 2006 Healing Hands, Broad Lane, Moldgreen, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
A one day workshop to be held in April 2006. Cost: 35.00 pounds. Rhiannon is the Celtic Goddess of Love, Sensuality, Creativity and Sexuality. In this one day workshop we recount the myths of Rhiannon and its meaning. We loving look at what the Lover archtype is all about. We take a practical look at loving ourselves and some of the emotional patterning we carry that re-einforces low self-esteem and negative thoughts. We also focus on the social barriers which prevent women expressing their sensuality. Finally we move into a place of healing and acceptance and find out how we can become more sensual in our lives, confident and self assured.
