The Virgin Mother Mary Titles: Emissary of the Virgin Matter, The Immaculate
Conception,
The Ocean Star.
Queen of Heaven.
Star of the Sea.
World
Mother.
From the Christian faith, although the icon is ageless
and timeless (think Isis suckling Horus).
Seen in the Christian texts as the Mother of the Divine
Son, Mother Mary is closely linked with Isis, Hera,
Ashtoreth and Astarte amongst other Goddess of Old.
She even shares the same mythology as some of these
as the Virgin Mother of a chosen anointed son.
If you lay aside what our modern bible states about
Mother Mary and commune with her energy, another more
apt and potent (in our opinion) image of her appears
- as Emissary of the Virgin Matter and World Mother.
. Was Mary a real woman who reached such a state of
spiritual enlightenment so as to free her Soul from
the ever revolving wheel of reincarnation? Some say
yes, some say Mary was a Priestess of Isis and taught
about Her mysteries.
Mary
is the
Divine Mother archetype which expresses the energy of
Goddess and the "Virgin Matter" the recipient
of the breathe of God that together brought life into
form.
Her signs and symbols are the Rose and Chalice, the
six pointed star and the element of water. She can be
called upon by saying the Christian prayer "Hail
Mary" or simply by meditating with the light of
the heavens. Mary's titles include Queen of Heaven and
Star of Heaven, she is often depicted with a crown of
seven stars about her head and in blue white flowing
robes.
