SATURDAY
We meet at 10am on the Saturday morning and after a
warm drink and introductions we begin by opening our
sacred circle and ceremonially cleansing ourselves using
the four elements of earth, air, fire and water.
We then take a journey around the Goddess Wheel of
and explore the qualities of the Goddess as Maiden,
Lover, Mother and Crone, Lady of the elements and the
starry realms. With beautiful guided visualization,
myth and stroy telling allowing you to connect with
these aspects of the Goddess.
We weave our magic of understanding and discovery
and prepare for our evening ceremony. (4pm- 7:30pm
time for dinner and to dress for the evening ceremony
- please note dinner is not provided and access to the
venue will be limited during this time.)
We return at 7:30pm for a very special experience in
which we and are led by the facilitators through a labyrinth
walk. Using masks we dance into ecstasy with the Goddess
and draw Her energy into our bodies. We use masks so
we can be free from our insecurities and inhibitions
which prevent us from dancing and expressing ourselves.
It is our fears that are the true masks.
SUNDAY
On Sunday morning we venture into nature (an ancient
moorland where our Goddess loving Neolithic ansectors
once lived, carving rock and builidng stone circles).
We connect to the Earth Mother and ask for insight and
quest for vision. In silent space we return for lunch
and make preparations and vows for taking what we have
discovered forwards in our own lives.
After lunch we come together around the sacred cauldron
and share our thoughts whilst molding Goddess shapes
from clay. We uncover the meaning of our creations and
take time to prepare individual offerings for the closing
ceremony.
Finally we say our farewells with a ceremony of thanks
with participation for all.
