From 6pm on Friday 9th May 2008, until 4pm on Sunday 11th May 2008.

Cost: £275 inclusive of all meals and accommodation in twin rooms for two nights. Places limited to 12.

The Centre

The Haybergill Centre is hidden in the picturesque Upper Eden Valley, near the market towns of Appleby & Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria. Nestled into the Pennine fells, remote from the busy world it is ideal for this retreat.

There is enough space for 12-30 people to sleep, eat and work together in a very special setting where the "eco" friendly building blends into the natural beauty of its surroundings. This retreat is limited to 12 places.

Accommodation is in twin room which will be allocated on arrival. If you would like to share with a particular person, or are booking the retreat with a friend and wish to share a room please let us know. If you require a twin room to yourself there will be a supplementary charge (contact us for details).

Arrival is from 6pm on Friday. After you have settled into your room your evening meal will be at 7:30pm.
From 9pm - 10pm there will be ceremonial cleansing using the elements of earth, air, fire and water in preparation for the Saturday.

SATURDAY

10am - Welcome Circle & Retreat Housekeeping.

11am - Presentation with Tania Hudson & Becca Morton
The Earth Goddess and the initiation of connecting to the land.

12:30 - 13:30 LUNCH

13:30 - 14:30 - Presentation with Alex Chaloner & Lynda Haigh. The Triple Goddess, and the initiation of Maiden, Mother and Crone.

The triple Goddess holds the power or new life, growth, fruition, death and regeneration. In her maiden aspect she is the virgin matter, the pure potential from which all life wells eternally. As the Mother she is the World Mother called Mary, Quan-Yin and Tara, who's unwavering compassion holds us deep. As the Crone Mother she is the cutter of ties and keeper of the cauldron of power. Using the myths of the triple Goddess, sound and creative visualisation we weave a journey for you to travel together beyond the veil to meet the Goddess in these aspects.

14:30 - 15:00 BREAK

15:00 - 17:00 Presentation with Edwin Courtenay & Sandra Duckworth. The Dark Goddess and the Initiation of the Hidden Chakra

The Mysteries of the Dark Goddess are often misunderstood she is looked upon by many as being evil, vengeful and angry. The truth is that she is our greatest initiator guiding us to confront our truth and limitation and challenging us to empower ourselves and be reborn. From the Morrigan to Cerridwen and Hecate to Hela we will explore these archetypes and their mysteries guided by Morgan Le Fey one time high priestess of the Goddess of ancient England. This presentation will include an initiation into the hidden Chakra, the internal vortex within women that leads to the primal power of the goddess.
Sandra Duckworth hedge witch and priestess of the goddess will aid Edwin in this magickal initiation.

17:00 - 19:30 FREE TIME & DINNER

19:30 - 21:30 Evening Ceremony (outdoors weather permitting)The Moon Goddess and the initiation of the lunar pathways.

We call a sacred circle and invite the energy of the new moon in. As we ceremonially drum, move and chant to enter into a light trance we journey deep into the heart beat of the Moon Goddess. We ask you to come masked or veiled and to bring rattles and drums. Please dress in suitable Goddess finery.

SUNDAY

8am - 9am BREAKFAST (9:00am - 9:30am free time to pack)

9:30am - 11am MORNING CEREMONY AND GROUP DISCUSSION.
After reconnecting to our circle we discuss last night's ceremony whilst making organic tree offerings to the Goddess.

Following this we re-claim silence in our lives by offering 2hrs of silent space. This sacred pledge of silence is to allow us to journey within our own inner landscapes whilst experiencing the next part of the retreat "Listening to the Land".

11am - 13:30pm - Listening to the Land - we visit a very special local sacred site where we sit and be silent and still before making our silent offerings to the Goddess.

13:30pm - 14:15 LUNCH

14:15 - 15:15 Closing Ceremony and the initiation of the Goddess Within me.

A chance for you to prepare for the closing ceremony with the Priestesses. You will split into 4 groups representing the earth, air, fire and water (based on your astrological sun signs) and together devise your own ceremony of thanks to the Goddess.

During the ceremony each participant will have the chance to make a pledge or promise to themselves in whichever way seems appropriate to you.

15:15 - 16:00 Merry Meet, merry part and merry meet again! Pack-up and Good-byes.

Nestled in the Cumbrian Fells near Appleby this wonderful retreat centre holds many magical and spiritual events. With luscious green grounds, magnificent trees and great food the Haybergill Centre offers you a warm welcome.

YOUR MEALS

BREAKFAST is self- service and continental style - fruit salad, fruit juice, yoghurt, cereals, and breads. Eggs, mushrooms & tomatoes are available for those wishing to cook their own.

LUNCH - buffet style - menu changes daily and is created from our own unique cookbook. Home made vegetarian soup and breads are followed by a selection of vegetarian and salad dishes and a meat or fish based dish. Fresh fruit is always available.

EVENING MEAL - buffet style - changes daily and consists of a meat or fish dish, a main vegetarian dish, a potato or rice dish and an assortment of seasonal vegetables. This is followed by hot pudding, cold sweet and fruit salad.
At all meals we make enough of each dish so that everyone can ‘have a go at everything’ and respectfully ask the meat eaters to ensure the vegetarians get in first on some dishes!

SNACKS AND DRINKS: Teas, Coffees, fruit teas and fruit cordials available all day. Cake + Biscuits will be in left in tins daily.

	Alexandra Chaloner, founder of Goddess Within is a practicing non-denominational Priestess and witch. She presides over meaningful ceremonies, teaches about the nature of the Goddess, magic making and about what it means to be a Priestess in this modern age. Raised Roman Catholic, in her early 20's Alex chose Wicca as her spiritual path. These days her spirituality is eclectic, with the Goddess playing a leading role.
	Edwin Courtenay is a clairvoyant, channel and spiritual teacher working in the UK and overseas. He is a messenger for the wisdom teachings of the Ascended Masters, Angelic Kingdom, Elementals and Crystal Skull consciousness. Edwin is a non traditional solitary Wiccan, a Priest of the Old Ways who integrates ritual and Earth mysteries with other teachings. He teaches with wit and humour and a comprehensive, no nonsense approach to spiritual truth.
	Tania Hudson is 41 years old, a Priestess of the Goddess, practicing Witch and Ceremonialist. Tania has followed the pagan path since her early teens. She has her roots in Wicca, elements of Druidry and Shamanism. Tania is dedicated to helping people celebrate the magic of the Goddess in a way that brings our ancestors' traditions to life in the 21st century.
	Lynda Haigh is a Goddess Within Priestess dedicated to lighting pathways to personal freedom. She is a lifelong seeker of truths and aims to open doors to wholeness for others through her work. Lynda is a Sister of Dragons who works with Earth energies and the Mother Goddess.
	Rebecca Morton is 34 years old. Her spiritual background is eclectic, influenced mainly by the Gods and Goddesses of old. Rebecca holds a degree in Theatre and specialises in ritual theater, bringing to life the myths and mysteries of the old ways.

RETREAT COST

The cost of the retreat is £275 per person. This includes accommodation for two nights 9th/10th sharing twin rooms, all your meals and retreat fees.

We require a non-refundable deposit of £150 by cheque to secure your place. We then ask for the reminder to be paid before 25/04/08. You can of course pay in full.
